Incubation Time:
82(TSF) - 52 days average (FL) 82(TSF) - 58 days average (GA) 88(TSM) - 42 days average |
Observations:
Others incubating at the same temperatures often have different lay time averages. Affected by elevation?
Gravid females often shed approx 5 days average before laying. (Lowest 4 days, highest 7 days observed)

Breeding Notes:
(Matt Baronak - Sasobek - Via Strength in Leos podcast): Eublepharis Afghanicus - smaller subspecies (40-50g), more socially tolerant. Used in gecko projects aids greatly with color retention. Tends towards boldness, also.
Eublepharis Fascio - Tends towards pale coloration and patterning. Especially good for outcrossing snows. Utilized by Rampant Reptiles to create stronger super snow eclipses.

Q) If low temps produce dark colored albinos how can I produce light colored albino females?
A) Sex in leopard geckos is determined within the first 3 weeks of incubation. So if you let albino eggs experience 78-83F for 22 days that will lock in the female sex and then you merely move those female eggs to a constant 90F for the remainder of incubation to get the best looking possible female offspring.

Calcium Gluconate - Not well absorbed orally. Best for injections.
Calcium Glubionate - best absorption for oral applications
Dosing: .1 cc per 100g of bodyweight daily (for MBD/Maint)
Twice a day dosing for female suspected of being in laying distress.
Baytril - Antibiotic (a fairly strong one)
Official dosing: 5mg/kg used as an injection, 10mg/kg used orally once a day for 7 days usually prescribed for most instances.
Example: 3 units (.03cc) per day (~45g gecko)
